Montes Gaisán, winner of the contest of ideas of the new Marina de Cudeyo Town Hall

The architect Agustín Montes Gaisán has won the contest of ideas called for the drafting of the construction of the new Town Hall of Marina de Cudeyo, to be built on Finca del Marqués, in the town of Rubayo.

The Minister of Works and Housing, José María Mazón, and the Mayor of Marina de Cudeyo, Severiano Ballesteros Lavín, presented the diplomas to the architects of the three finalists in the Cultural Center of Pontejos. Besides Gaisán Montes, who obtained the best score of the jury and a cash prize of 6,000 euros, the architects who were second and third place were Clemente Lomba and Alfredo Alférez.

The winner has the right to develop his idea, through the drafting of the relevant technical and project management of works. Alberto Montes project is bold and contemporary.

The winning works have been exhibited in the Cultural Center of Pontejos.
